Meetings & Events

The Sarasota Civic League meets monthly and the meetings are open to all interested parties (members and non-members). The meetings alternate between breakfast starting at 7:30 AM or lunch starting at 11:30 AM. 

Breakfast and luncheon meetings are currently held at Restaurant Suzette located at 23 N. Lemon Avenue, next to the Whole Foods store at Lemon and 2nd Street in downtown Sarasota. 

Walk-ins are welcome, however, reservations are strongly recommended and can be made by filling out a simple form when you click on the link below:

The start of each meeting opens with networking among guests and then shifts into a dynamic program relevant to noteworthy current event topics.    Typically a keynote speaker or panel of experts has been invited to address the membership at large in presenting interesting and informative topics that are or might be affecting Sarasota and its surrounding areas.

• February 10 Luncheon at 11:30 at Restaurant Crepes Suzette located at 23 N. Lemon Ave. Program: Speakers will present both sides of the upcoming March referrendum on whether to continue a one-mill property tax for Sarasota schools.
• March 10 breakfast at 7:30am at Restaurant Crepes Suzette located at 23 N. Lemon Ave. Program: Speakers will present both sides of how the recent Supreme Court ruling on campaign finance will impact federal elective politics. You won't want to miss this!
